Newks Ranch Trip

ABOUT

The Leander AFJROTC cadets are going to the Newks Ranch in New Braunfels!  This will be a great opportunity for cadets to participate in team building opportunities and stay connected over the summer!

DATES OF TRAVEL

Departing on Thursday, June 19, 2025 - Returning on Sunday, June 22, 2025

PRELIMINARY ITINERARY

NOTE:  The itinerary below is preliminary and only intended to be a sample.  This itinerary is subject to change.

Day 1:

11am - Arrive/Settle

12pm - Lunch

1pm - 1/2 low ropes & team buidling/ 1/2 water safety & swim time

3pm - Switch

5pm - Free time

6:30pm - Dinner

7:30pm - Team Building/Ice Cream

Day 2:

8am - Breakfast

9am - Tubing

12pm - Lunch

1pm - High Ropes Elements/Zip Line, Etc.

4:30pm - Free Time

6:30 pm - Dinner

7:30pm - Compass/Campfire

Day 3:

8am - Breakfast

9am - Day trip to Enchanted Rock State Park/ hiking/ caving - Lunch @ the Rock

5pm - Dinner @ Gatti's Pizza in Fredericksburg 

8:30pm Return to Newk's

Day 4:

8am - Breakfast - On own/Pack & Wrap Up

Depart for Cedar Park
